Gergely Dudas the creative mind behind the comic series Dudolf shared some insights into what he believes makes his work so effective in delivering humor. According to the artist Relatable and self-aware comics are always very funny. I enjoy turning small daily struggles into comics. I hope they make it a tiny bit easier for others to deal with them. Seeing my most common character the Bear in a relatable situation might give the feeling of not being alone in it.
Dudas also explained that part of his creative process involves adding unexpected or overdramatized elements to the strips which adds an extra layer of humor to the everyday scenarios he portrays. His ability to combine the ordinary with the absurd is what makes his comics so unique and entertaining.

When discussing his approach to creating characters that align with the tone of his comics Gergely Dudás shared his philosophy. I always aim to keep my characters as simple as possible. The Bear and the Duck are my two favorite animals to draw because they have a very simple design which makes them more relatable I believe. This simplicity is key to their charm and effectiveness helping Dudás characters resonate with readers while keeping the humor lighthearted and accessible.
