For those aspiring to become comic artists, Tim has some simple but valuable advice: just start. I’m not the comic artist to learn from if you’re a serious illustrator he jokes. But, as with anything, pick out your favorites and just mimic them. As you go, you’ll figure out your style. Consistency is key, according to Tim. Whether it’s 2 minutes or 2 hours, devote some amount of time to it every. single. day. By making creativity a habit, aspiring artists can refine their skills and develop their unique approach over time.
