When it comes to the art style in Goofy Gods Comics, Jerome shared that he specifically developed it with simplicity in mind. I wanted something fun and not too complex so I could draw quickly, he said. However, Jerome admits that his plan didn’t quite work out as expected. I kind of failed at that since each comic takes about 10 hours to make. Despite the time investment the playful and approachable art style continues to be a key element of the comic’s charm.

Goofy Gods Comics aims to bring a smile to your face, with Jerome’s primary goal being simple. I want people to simply get a laugh out of it.” The comics are designed to be lighthearted and enjoyable, offering a fun twist on classic Greek mythology. The series features recurring characters like Zeus the mighty ruler of the gods and god of the sky and thunder, and Hades the king of the underworld and god of the dead. Hades is often seen alongside his three-headed dog, Cerberus, affectionately nicknamed Cerbie. As a dog lover, Jerome felt that Cerbie was the perfect way to showcase his love for dogs and Cerbie is his favorite character in the series. Jerome also enjoys drawing other characters like Charon, Pegasus, and Hydra, adding his playful spin to each mythological figure. Through these characters and their adventures Goofy Gods Comics delivers a fun escape into the world of ancient gods.
