Chez Cuckoo is a comedic webcomic that brings together a variety of quirky characters each caught up in all kinds of humorous mishaps and unexpected situations. Whether it’s an epic disaster or a small screw-up the hilarious dynamics between these unique personalities make for endless entertainment with readers getting a chance to laugh at the chaos they create together. Created by Norwegian artist Torbjørn Lien the comic was born out of a desire to explore contrasting personalities and the comedic potential of their interactions. As Torbjørn shared, I wanted to make the characters as different as possible to play them off each other and see what kind of humor came out of it. All the central characters are a bit based on various sides of myself I think. But they are also inspired by various people I’ve known over the years, and a lot of pure imagination. With characters that feel like a mix of personal reflections and real-life influences, Chez Cuckoo offers a humorous glimpse into the messes we all can get into all wrapped up in charming illustrations. Dive into the post to enjoy the latest comics and be sure to check out short descriptions of the characters as shared by Torbjørn to better understand the personalities that bring the chaos to life.
