Everyone enjoys a little lighthearted humor, right? Comic creator Marcel Wichmann decided to jump on that trend and spread some smiles by sharing his work online. Hailing from Berlin, Germany, Marcel runs an Instagram account called “Uarrr,” where he posts his comics filled with playful humor for his loyal followers.
Marcel’s primary goal is to brighten people’s days through his comics. Aspiring to be an illustrator, he started drawing comics for fun. However, after some time, he realized there was a big difference between creating comics for enjoyment and doing it professionally. This realization led him to take a break from drawing comics.
Eventually, he returned to his craft, this time purely for fun. As a result of this shift, he currently has 6,932 followers on his Instagram account. Marcel explains, “Drawing is just a hobby for me, and I love being in a place where I don’t want it to become anything else.”
